Foreword by Tony Samara
"So many changes, so many challenges, so many possibilities, so many choices... I know that you the reader, like Wahido, have a deep desire to understand the truth and meaning behind all these experiences. Where do we start? This book may speak to you and your depth of being and be the beginning of an inner journey towards transformation.
I have asked Wahido to write this book after many years on his spiritual quest as a means of sharing what is possible, no matter what the situation may be that one is facing. He writes in an easy to follow manner and brings in his personal experiences of transformation, as well as giving everyone a feeling that the world we live in is truly a miracle." ~ Tony Samara, July 2012
Tony Samara, author of ‘Shaman’s Wisdom,’ ‘From the Heart,’ ‘Different Yet the Same,’ and ‘Deeper than Words’ was born in England, grew up in Egypt and also in Norway where he discovered the “Zen Buddhist philosophy”. His function is as a Spiritual Teacher who encourages all to lead their lives actively in a noble way in order to realize the evolution of human consciousness. Tony Samara is a mirror of what is possible, a shining reminder of the continuous possibility of being human. www.tonysamara.com

"This book is Wahido's personal, spiritual journey, but I'm sure many spiritual seekers will relate to his story about his path in the book. Not many write so honestly about their experiences with their teachers. By reading about Wahido's journey, it will help you to look at your own spiritual practices to see where you are or where you might need to focus.
The refreshing parts of this book are the author Wahido's down-to-earth writing style and voice, along with his non-pretentious take on spirituality. The world really needs more inclusive, open spiritual communities. There's some lessons that the author learned about inclusivity and dogma free spirituality that he graciously passes along to the reader. It can take many years to learn the type of lessons that Wahido describes. Instead of keeping the wisdom to himself, he has shared it in the form of a book with a sincere desire to assist others' paths.
Even if you are not familiar with Osho or Tony Samara, you can read the book and insert your own, spiritual teachers. The quest for enlightenment is something that everyone on the path has in common. It's quite interesting to read so in-depth about one person's journey. I felt as though I was peeking into someone's very private journals or mind at times. This type of sharing, from a very open-hearted place is quite rare in today's popular spirituality."

"I just finished reading Wahido Marata's book - wow what an amazing experience - his sharing is so open, vulnerable, truly from the heart, and filled with love, and such deep spiritual and practical wisdom. A lot of what he wrote resonated with me. I really appreciate Wahido sharing his personal and inner experiences so openly - how beautiful is his continuously evolving relationship with his precious family, his relationship with his spiritual teacher Tony Samara, and his relationship with himself, and with what is. Oh yes, and I love The Easy Flow! Thank you Wahido so much for shining your light!" by Vivian Bryan

"There comes a time when a writer hits the nail on the head. In this book "The Teachings of Osho and Tony Samara Revealed" Wahido does an exemplary job in pointing to the need for a teacher or a guru to guide you on the path of awakening. The student if left to his or her own devices could and most likely will get lost in the world of Maya. Tony Samara and Osho were there for Wahido every step of the way. Hence this is why this book was written. To show in so many ways that whether it be eating chocolate or discussing the age old question of "what is enlightenment?", the teacher takes both questions seriously and does all he or she can to dispell the darkness that lurks in the mind of the student. In these times of so many Popcorn Gurus, it is refereshing to read a story of two masters Osho and Tony Samara. Bravo Wahido!!!!"

"Wahido's book brings an elegantly intelligent approach to many of the issues we are all currently facing. Part of the grace of this book comes from the integrity of the author's search for truth, and part of it comes from Wahido's personal connection to the states of Being that awakened people offer."

"This is the author's first book, which is a very personal, open and detailed account of his spiritual life so far. His two main influences are Osho and Tony Samara. I was touched by his sincerity, eagerness and what appeared to me to be his innocence. This is a rare quality."

5.0 out of 5 stars An engaging personal account of the journey to enlightenment
By Rebecca Seminarian (Vegan Documentaries - www.vegandocumentaries.com) May 4, 2016
Enlightenment is by no means an easy subject to approach. While it is an attractive prospect, it is also separate from our world of words and everyday concepts, which is why it can prove hard to discuss.
Indeed, it is a very personal experience, as intimate as a dream, yet without being about the self. How then to approach the subject?
Wellness advocate, spiritual explorer, and writer Wahido Marata approaches these subjects with an open heart and honest mind in his book, 'The Teachings of Osho and Tony Samara Revealed - You Are Called To Change'. It is clear from the start that Wahido has a true passion for sharing his spiritual journey and learning with others.
What strikes me even in the first few pages is the honesty with which Marata writes. The book begins with his story, and his humble approach to entering a world of thinking, being and opening up. The excitement on discovering this new side of life is clearly translated into the pages of the first chapter.
As Marata's story unfolds, he becomes more immersed in a lifestyle that encourages awareness, questions, and loss of the ego. It's interesting to read about the importance of particular encounters within himself and with others that are significant pivot points; short moments that have a lasting impact.
Marata approaches the topic of enlightenment with an innocent mind, not striving to alienate you, but with an honest wish to share something that previously he kept as a personal account, shared only with his teacher and partner. It is encouraging and enjoyable to read Marata's description of his feelings, his new awareness, his wonder at the discovery of a larger universe. The detail of writing creates an intimate space for the details of this journey, so that others may be inspired and encouraged to take a peek at what could be along their own path, with practice.
The book is a great starting point for anyone interested in finding out more about truth, awareness and enlightenment. If are looking for more connection in life, this could be the first step you need to finding out how an ordinary life can change, with a little curiosity and openness of mind and heart.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Companion for Your Spiritual Journey
By Sue Ellam (London, UK) October 15, 2015
I was very honoured to be asked by Wahido to help him with editing his book. As I worked through the pages I was very touched by his willingness to be vulnerable and put himself on the line. I have the advantage of knowing Tony Samara and this made Wahido's book that much more personal for me. I deeply resonated with his challenges and learning on his spiritual journey. I can say from experience that a spiritual journey of this kind isn't for the faint hearted! :)
If you are starting, or are on, a spiritual journey of your own, then I recommend this book because Wahido generously and fearlessly lets you into his heart and mind, and this will reassure you that you aren't alone.
Good luck with the book Wahido - it was a pleasure working with you and I learned a lot! :)

Years ago I had the great fortune to meet Wahido Marata, at a meditationday in The Hague. It was during a very sad and emotional period in my life. Through his meditation class and spiritual support my healing process started. I still cherish the memory of this day. While reading this marvelous book of Wahido I discover many answers to questions I have. But at the same time I realise that my search for who I am now, just has been started. This book supports me in my search and to find my way in life. Thank you, dear Wahido, for sharing your experience and wisdom. And also thanks to your spiritual teachers, Tony Samara and Osho.
With kind regards, Lien

4.0 out of 5 stars A sincere testimony of Evolutionary Journey, June 9, 2014

Wahido writes with great honesty and without face lift about his journey, which is a sign of courage and certainly a proof of his attainment. This testimony is sure to touch the reader with its genuity, and also encourage all of us who are striving to evolve. Knowing that others face similar challenges , once feels kinship and becomes invigorated to make it "all the way to the most profound realization" through this life.
